At The Writing Coach we know that each writer is individual and has different needs. We seek to support writers at all stages of their creative lives from beginners to published writers. For this reason, we offer a broad variety of services and we tailor packages to suit the individual needs of our clients.
Our key services are:
Coaching and Mentoring – Clients seeking to work with a Writing Coach or Mentor are generally those who want longer term support in their writing lives. This may or may not include feedback on writing work-in-progress.
Literary Consultancy – If you are seeking a one-off full appraisal of your writing work and need detailed feedback on the work, choose literary consultancy.
Those clients seeking Coaching generally work with our founder, Jacqui Lofthouse, who is both a novelist and a qualified coach. Our other Consultants have a variety of experience in writing and publishing and also work as Mentors to our clients.
In addition, we can provide:
Membership of The Writing Coach Community – Access to our online community for writers. The Completion Club is now open and is our most affordable option, offering group support, regular accountability, weekly writing lessons and monthly audio interviews with established writing professionals.
Editing – Our editing service will launch in September 2011. If you have an urgent editing enquiry however, please enquire via the contact form.
Ghostwriting – In exceptional circumstances – where the material is particularly strong – we undertake ghostwriting projects. However, please be aware that this would never be our first recommendation as ghostwriting is an extremely costly enterprise. At present, one of our ghostwriting clients has secured a NY literary agent – so we do see the potential for this way of working, even as we recommend proceeding with caution.
