Coaching and Mentoring Packages:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Coaching, Mentoring and Literary Consultancy services are now closed, as Jacqui Lofthouse is about to re-enter full-time education. The Writing Life:
The Writing Life is a coaching-only package where coaching can be conducted by telephone or in-person. Jacqui Lofthouse remains available for this service. We recommend six sessions to get the most from this service but you can book in two-session blocks. The in-person fees relate to work at the Richmond Green Practice or the British Library – including career development coaching.
- Two one-hour telephone coaching sessions: £190 ($299). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions.
- Six one-hour telephone coaching sessions: £495 ($781) (discount of £75/$116). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions.
- Two one-hour in-person coaching sessions: £250 ($394). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions. (At The Richmond Green Practice or The British Library).
- Six one-hour in-person coaching sessions: £650 ($1025) (discount of £100/$157). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions. (At The Richmond Green Practice or The British Library).
The Full Mentor:
The Full Mentor is a coaching and literary consultancy package. Coaching can be conducted by telephone or in-person. It also includes full email support between sessions. All Full Mentor sessions include reading and annotation of 10- 25 pages of writing work (double-spaced, 12pt) per session (150 pages of writing work over six sessions). Jacqui Lofthouse remains available for this service. We recommend six sessions to get the most from this service but you can book in two-session blocks. The in-person fees relate to work at the Richmond Green Practice or the British Library – including career development coaching.
- Two one-hour telephone coaching sessions plus reading/annotation of 10-25 pages of work per session: £265 ($418). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions.
- Six one-hour telephone coaching sessions plus reading/annotation of 10-25 pages of work per session: £720 ($1136) (discount of £75/$118). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions.
- Two one-hour in-person coaching sessions plus reading/annotation of 10-25 pages of work per session: £325 ($513). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions. (At The Richmond Green Practice or The British Library).
- Six one-hour in-person coaching sessions plus reading/annotation of 10-25 pages of work per session: £875 ($1380) (discount of £100/$159). Includes full, regular personal email support between sessions. (At The Richmond Green Practice or The British Library).
Literary Consultancy:
Our Literary Consultancy service is undertaken by our team of consultants. Please note: Jacqui Lofthouse is no longer personally available for Literary Consultancy on a one-off basis, nor is she currently available to read full manuscripts, except those by ongoing coaching clients in relation to Literary Scouting.
For a Full Written Reader’s Report:
This service includes reading of the manuscript and a full written report OR a two hour in-person meeting with your consultant. It also includes pencil-annotation of text, but this is not a full editing service. For full editing services click here.
For a full-length manuscript the report would be between 7-10 single-spaced pages. A complimentary 30 minute telephone conversation is included where the written report is chosen over the in-person meeting.
Fees:
All manuscripts are assumed to be in 12pt Times New Roman, double-spaced.
For manuscripts up to 50 pages: £185 ($295) (minimum fee) – (Agent/publisher submission package)
For manuscripts up to 100 pages: £295 ($471)
For manuscripts up to 200 pages: £370 ($591)
For each additional 50 pages after 200:£60 ($95)
Therefore a 400 page manuscript would cost: £610 ($975)
