The Ultimate Literary Coaching Programme
An intensive six-month mentoring programme – the last chance to work directly with Jacqui Lofthouse. Only five places will be offered. (Two left!)
From September 2012, our founder Jacqui Lofthouse will be undergoing full-time training and embarking on a new stage of her career. Having spent the last eighteen years as a full time novelist and coach, Jacqui now seeks a fresh challenge and will be taking her work into secondary schools. Jacqui will be studying for a PGCE in English with Drama at London’s Institute of Education with a view to teaching drama, literature and creative writing to teenagers, whilst continuing to pursue her own writing. After September 2012, Jacqui will no longer be available as a coach. Ultimate Literary Coaching clients however will still have email access to Jacqui after this time for general advice.
What is the Ultimate Literary Coaching Programme?

Here’s what one of our clients has to say about her work with Jacqui:
Julia Crouch, Author of Cuckoo
“At the beginning of 2009 I had a dozen short stories, two novels in rough draft, and an unfinished screenplay. I was writing in my spare time – I was a full time website designer and have three children. I had no idea what writing project to concentrate on, and had completely stalled. A friend recommended Jacqui and, over six months, she gave me the confidence to take the big step of committing a whole year to one project. She also provided excellent literary feedback, helping me turn my first chapters into little diamonds.
Now, my first novel Cuckoo – the one Jacqui helped me with – has been published by Headline. I am about to hand my editor my second. I have one of the best agents in the country, have sold Italian, French, German and Dutch rights and I write full time. I can say unequivocally that if I hadn’t contacted Jacqui I would still be battling with html. These days the only website I look after is my own!”
This is the last opportunity to work with the most established literary coach in the UK who has credentials as a published literary novelist (Penguin and Bloomsbury) and a fully trained coach (CoachU). Jacqui looks forward to working with you.
