Please read this page before you explore the forum. The information on this page will help you to navigate the Members Area.
Where should I begin?
- First, please edit your profile.Click ‘Membership Details’ on the Members Page or to the right of this page. This enables you to edit your profile. In particular, you can change your password to make it unique to you. (At first, everyone has the same password). If you scroll down the page, you can add a paragraph or two about yourself that other members will be able to see. You can also include brief information about your writing project here.
- If you would like to include a personalised image to go with your profile, please visit this website and create a Gravatar (if you do not already have one). A Gravatar is an image icon that will identify you on this website, so you can post in the forum using a picture as your icon. If you are already a WordPress User, you can simply log in on the Gravatar site and follow the instructions. If you are not a WordPress User, simply press ‘Get Your Gravatar today’. You can skip this step if you like, but if you do, you will not have an image on your profile page.
What do I need to know before I explore the Forum?
- The Forum is available for you to discuss your writing life and writing work with other Writing Coach clients. You can start new topics and respond to threads. Where possible, please respond to open threads on that same thread, rather than opening a new thread. Please remember to be constructive in your comments. This is a unique and supportive community and I will personally moderate the site to ensure that all posts are in keeping with this constructive ethos. I do not respond to every thread on the forum.
Great – Let’s get started…
Do return to the Members Page and explore the forum. There is an Introductions thread which is the best place to begin.
I am looking forward to continuing to fill my shelves with my clients’ books.
