The terms and conditions set out below apply to your joining the Getting Published Day Event offered by Jacqui Lofthouse at The Writing Coach. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which Jacqui Lofthouse (“I”, “me” or “my”) provide services to you, as a purchaser of Getting Published Day Event. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which I am bound to and which cannot be waived.
Getting Published Day Event
The Getting Published Day Event is taking place on Saturday 15th June 2024 at Asia House in London.
Payment Terms
You can purchase Getting Published Day Event for £195 or purchase a VIP ticket for £595. (Please see below for details about refunds).

Should you require any support in respect of this event, please email jacqui@thewritingcoach.co.uk. My working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm and I aim to respond to you within a few hours if you contact me during those hours.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your privacy and protection of your personal data is important to me. I will keep your personal data confidential and will not share it with unconnected third parties. Your payment information will be processed by a secure third-party processor. I will be provided with your name and email address but will never be provided with your financial information.
Refunds and Cancellation
There are no refunds available but if you are unable to attend on the day for whatever reason, please let the team know at jacqueline@thewritingcoach.co.uk in advance and we will either find an alternative course for you or provide you with a voucher which can be used within 12 months for an equivalent value service at The Writing Coach.
Intellectual property
At all times, even following purchase, the intellectual property rights and copyright connected with any materials provided, remain with me, Jacqui Lofthouse. You have the right to use the materials as learning tools, but you are not permitted to duplicate, imitate, or provide copies to third parties whether for payment, for free or as part of an exchange of services.
Feedback and Complaints
If you have any feedback about Getting Published Day Event, please do share it with me. It’ always great to receive words of praise and it’s also helpful to get constructive comments. I really hope that you enjoy the event, but if you would like to make a complaint this should be made in writing to the following email address: jacqui@thewritingcoach.co.uk
General
I intend to rely on the written terms set out in these terms and conditions in respect of the Getting Published Day Event as it is delivered to you. These written terms shall constitute the entire agreement between us.
If any provision or part- provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part- provision shall be deemed deleted. Any such modification or deletion shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter and proceedings arising out of your purchase of the course.
